Kids on a farm

FLOURTOWN, PA- Incredible family is seeking a dedicated and experienced lead nanny to join their team! This full-time role involves working collaboratively with another full-time nanny as well as part-time nannies to care for four energetic children, all under the age of eight. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with children and the ability to adapt to the unique needs of this active, intelligent, and sensitive family.

The lead nanny must be comfortable managing the care of all four children independently and supervising other part-time nannies. The role requires working evenings through bedtime, weekends, and travel as part of a rotating schedule with the other nannies.

Key responsibilities include providing compassionate, attentive care and engaging the children in age-appropriate and intellectually stimulating activities. This family values physical activity, and the nanny will be expected to plan and participate in active play and sports to channel the children’s high energy and sensory needs. Additionally, the nanny will be responsible for preparing meals, maintaining a clean and organized environment, assisting with the children's educational needs, and transporting them safely to school, appointments, and extracurricular activities. The family has established daily routines and childcare guidelines, which the nanny must follow consistently.

The ideal candidate will have CPR and First Aid certifications (with swimming skills preferred), along with excellent references that speak to their ability to manage highly active children requiring emotional and sensory support. A background in Elementary School Education or experience working with groups of children is also preferred. Strong communication skills, patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to the family’s needs are essential.

This position also involves working during weekends, holidays, and family vacations, with the expectation of traveling with the family for two months each summer to Nantucket.
