SAINT GEORGE, UT (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) - A wonderful family in Saint George, UT, is seeking a warm, patient, and reliable part-time weekend nanny to care for their two young children, a 4-year-old daughter, and a 2-year-old son. This role is perfect for someone with a positive attitude who is open to learning and growing alongside the family. They welcome college students seeking flexible work that fits their schedule.

The typical weekend schedule will run from Friday through Sunday, 7 AM – 2 PM, with occasional overnight requests on Friday or Saturday, provided with at least 30 days' notice.

The 4-year-old daughter is curious, energetic, and always on the move. A nanny with a patient, understanding approach—offering gentle guidance without being authoritarian—will be essential to helping her thrive. The 2-year-old son is easygoing, affectionate, and enjoys independent play. Both children will benefit from a nanny who can engage them with activities, guide them through their morning routines, and foster playful, meaningful interactions.

Responsibilities include standard childcare tasks such as morning wake-ups, getting the children dressed, meal prep and clean-up, children’s laundry, and keeping play areas tidy. The nanny should also be comfortable taking the children to activities, visiting playgrounds, and providing basic sick care when needed. A personal vehicle is preferred for transportation, with gas and mileage reimbursement provided. The family also has a dog, so pet-friendly candidates are welcome. Additionally, the nanny should be open to occasional travel and overnight stays, with advance notice.

The ideal candidate will be up-to-date on flu and COVID vaccinations and bring good judgment, a strong sense of responsibility, and a genuine passion for working with children.

Compensation is $30-35/hr gross via payroll, with six days of PTO and holiday time arranged as needed. The position will begin in January 2024.
