SAINT GEORGE, UT (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) – A wonderful family in Saint George, UT, seeks a warm, patient, and flexible nanny to care for their two young children, a 4-year-old daughter and a 2-year-old son, on a part-time or full-time basis, with two schedule options available. This position is ideal for someone with a positive outlook and a genuine passion for supporting children’s growth and development.

The family offers two scheduling options:

  1. Part-Time Schedule: Friday through Sunday, 7 AM - 2 PM, with occasional overnight requests on Friday or Saturday, provided with ample notice.
  2. Full-Time Schedule with Benefits: Wednesday through Sunday, 7 AM – 1:30 PM, with occasional extended hours until 5 PM on Saturdays and Sundays, totaling 32 hours per week with the potential to reach up to 40 hours. Compensation is $35/hr, with six days of PTO, arranged holiday time, and the option for health insurance.

The family is primarily seeking a live-out nanny but may consider providing housing for the ideal candidate who is a great fit.

The role involves caring for the children in a warm, understanding manner, helping with morning routines, engaging them in fun and educational activities, and handling meal prep, children’s laundry, and tidying of play areas. The 4-year-old daughter, currently working with an occupational therapist on emotional regulation and sensory skills, thrives with gentle guidance and patience. The easygoing 2-year-old son enjoys independent play and will benefit from a nanny who can foster his curiosity and development. Occasional travel and overnight care may be requested, with at least 30 days' notice.

A nanny with a personal vehicle is preferred, with mileage and gas reimbursement offered. The family has a friendly dog, so pet-friendly candidates are welcome. The ideal candidate will be up-to-date on flu and COVID vaccinations, bring sound judgment and reliability, and have a sincere commitment to helping young children grow.

The position will begin in January 2025, with competitive compensation, flexible hours, and benefits for the right candidate.
