NEW YORK, NY- Upper West Side family is looking for a college-educated nanny to create meaningful and enriching experiences for their children. They need someone who is naturally organized and can manage a schedule effectively. Prioritizing safety and having good common sense are essential.

The hours are Monday to Friday from 2:30 PM to 7:30 PM, with the flexibility to work later if needed. Sundays require availability from 6 AM to 12 PM, with some flexibility. The family guarantees 40 hours of pay per week, and compensation is based on experience.

Their children, a 7-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy, enjoy arts and crafts, dancing, and trips to the park. They may be a little shy at first, but once they feel comfortable, they are energetic and full of curiosity. They love asking questions and are especially fond of reading.

The nanny will have full responsibility for all child-related tasks, from picking the kids up from school, taking them to playdates and the park, to organizing educational activities. Simple meal prep, focused on fresh vegetarian meals, is part of the role. A morning nanny handles the early shift (6 AM to 12 PM), and a housekeeper provides deep cleaning services three times a week. The family values teamwork, so they’re looking for someone who is happy to assist with keeping the common areas tidy, especially in between housekeeping visits, and with light kitchen cleaning after dinner.

Additional responsibilities include managing the children's laundry, organizing their belongings, and keeping their spaces neat. With extra time before school pick-up, the family hopes the nanny can also assist with small household tasks, such as accepting deliveries, putting away packages, and helping with light family dishes when needed.

There’s no driving or swimming required for this role, and the home is pet-free. No travel is required.

Both the COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are mandatory, and CPR certification can be renewed upon hiring.
