NEW ORLEANS - CHICAGO - Family seeking an experienced NANNY/HOUSEHOLD MANAGER for their sweet 3-year-old son. This nanny will START OUT LIVING IN IN NEW ORLEANS but MUST BE LOCAL TO CHICAGO. You will return to CHICAGO as a LIVE OUT NANNY May 2025. Upon returning to Chicago, the schedule is expected to turn into a ROTA schedule with 2 weeks on/2 weeks off. They are seeking the first provider to join the team while in Louisiana to live in or live out. This family is seeking an experienced nanny with a background in education and strong time management skills.

Hours are Monday - Thursday 6:30 am - 7 pm, then Friday 9 am - 7 pm. The family requires 1 weekend a month, including overnights, for the nanny to provide on-call/full care for the child while the mom travels for work. Flexibility and reliability is key in this role!

The son attends school Monday - Thursday from 8:30 am - 3 pm. Mom works remotely in the home. The nanny is expected to complete the household management tasks while the son is at school. If the household duties are completed, the nanny could use a split schedule some days to balance the hours worked and prevent fatigue. This role requires strong household management skills, tech savvy candidates, and strong communicators. Candidates should be in mom's brain and have a can do attitude.

Duties include caring for the child, driving him to and from school, taking him to speech therapy/occupational therapy 3-4 times per week, meal prep for the son, picking up after the son, laundry for the son, ordering/purchasing groceries, and cleaning the dishes and kitchen after meals. Additionally, if the mom cannot attend the speech therapy sessions, she would ask the nanny to take detailed notes to ensure the household is working as a unit to support the child in his speech and language implementation and goals.

The family prefers candidates who have their own reliable transportation but they could provide a car for work if necessary. They are open to providing a stipend for gas, maintenance, and insurance for the nanny’s personal vehicle if used for work.

The perfect candidate has a strong sense of time management, is coachable, is a team player, and is a self-starter. Mom and needs a candidate who understands that she is a busy working professional and the nanny is supportive in mom's goals as well.  The maternal grandmother and extended family are often in and around the home.

Benefits include PTO + Paid Holidays + possible housing stipend for the perfect candidate. The family has no vaccination preference at this time. Start date is ASAP. Pay is $70-80k gross annually based pm experience.
