NATIONWIDE SEARCH: OREGON & MEXICO- Nestled in the picturesque community of Hood River, Oregon, a lovely family seeks a dedicated full-time nanny to join their vibrant household and care for their 3.5-month-old baby boy. This active and curious little one thrives on a predictable schedule, sleeping soundly from 7 PM to 7 AM with a few naps during the day. His engaged personality reflects his parents’ commitment to his development, and they are searching for someone equally passionate about child growth and life skills.

The family highly values the outdoors and is seeking a nanny who shares their love for nature and being active. Famous for year-round snow-capped mountains, wind sports, rivers, trails, craft breweries, wineries and orchards, Hood River offers a perfect place for an active lifestyle. Whether hiking, exploring parks, or simply enjoying fresh air, the family wants someone who will also find joy in nature and can bring that enthusiasm into the child’s daily routine.

The parents, a hands-on duo—a mother who is an anesthesiologist and a father who is an entrepreneur—are both deeply involved in their child’s life and seek a nanny who can complement their active, nurturing approach. This role is Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, though the family appreciates flexibility, and there will be days when you're working fewer hours, as both parents also work part time at home. Even on those lighter days, you’ll still be compensated as though you worked a full day.

They’re looking for someone who sees nannying as a career, takes pride in stimulating the child’s curiosity, and contributes to the household’s overall joy and growth. The family offers a warm and welcoming environment, including the option of living in a charming two-bedroom, one-bath cottage adjacent to their main home. With easy access to local parks and downtown, this setting is perfect for those who thrive in nature.

Flexibility is key, especially as the family splits time between Hood River and their beach-front house in La Ventana, Mexico (Baja California Sur) during the winter months. La Ventana is a charming resort town known for its active community, wind sports, hiking and biking trails, fishing, and cactus forests. The La Ventana residence is directly on the ocean, is spacious, and offers many luxuries (pool, sauna, views). You will also have private and separate accommodations on this property when traveling with the family.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $25-35 gross via payroll with benefits like paid holidays, vacation, and sick days. If you love the outdoors, enjoy working in a community that celebrates an active lifestyle, and find fulfillment in bringing joy and growth to the lives of children while partnering with hands-on parents, this could be the perfect role for you!
