HOUSTON / PORTLAND (HOUSTON CANDIDATES ONLY) - A multi-cultural athletic health-conscious family with 3-year-old twin boys is searching for a BILINGUAL FULL-TIME TRAVEL NANNY to grow with the family long-term and help care for their boys and comfortably participate in extensive travel with the family. The family splits time between Portland, Oregon(March - September), and Houston, TX(6 months). They also have occasional extended stays in other cities.

 

The schedule is 4 days on/ 4 days off at 12-hour day shifts. The family will provide live-in accommodations and a vehicle to use while they are in Portland, however, the candidate should have their own home base in Houston. Live-in accommodations include a private bedroom and bathroom. The family employs a chef and housekeeper who will be in the home weekly as well. 

 

The perfect candidate must be punctual, reliable, flexible, and have excellent communication skills. This family would love a nanny who is accustomed to being responsible for many tasks within the home and is willing to engage when needed. Flexibility in your schedule will be highly important for this role!

A Masters Degree in Child Development or Education is preferred. The ideal candidate has newborn, infant, and toddler experience and is well-versed in human developmental milestones and early childhood development. 

 

No vaccination preference at this time. Infant First Aid and CPR certified required. Passport Required. Benefits include 14 days PTO( 7 days of Nanny's discretion/ 7 days of family choosing) and additional benefits to be discussed for the right candidate. Start date is ASAP. Pay is $28-30/hr gross via payroll based on experience.

Qualifications

BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study 

CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)

Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position

A passion for working with children

Two+ years childcare experience

Excellent work and personal references

U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)

Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership
 
Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus

Competent swimmer

Non-smoker

Willing to go through extensive Background Check

Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident

Willingness to show proof of immunizations

No-cell phone driving signed guarantee

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
