AUSTIN, TX (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) - High-profile clients near Lakeway seek a flexible & reliable Nanny for 25 hours a week, guaranteed from 12/1 to 6/7 PM, Monday through Friday, with full flexibility. They have two girls: an 8-year-old and a 20-month-old. An ideal candidate might be someone who is retired. Responsibilities include grocery shopping, keeping track of inventory, organizing, meal prep & cooking, and managing the children’s activities. A reliable car is necessary (car seats provided), and an apartment in the basement is available for occasional overnights as needed. Due to the nature of the parents' line of work, flexibility around hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, overnights, and travel, is essential. While the preference is for the nanny to live out primarily, the ability to stay overnight occasionally is required. Local candidates are preferred as relocation is not provided.  Must have safe and reliable car and a clean driving record.

Their 8-year-old daughter is curious, loving, and energetic, with after-school activities including jiu-jitsu, and gymnastics. The youngest will enter preschool in the fall.  Their 20-month-old is smart, sweet, and thrives on engaging activity. She will be starting preschool in late August. The parents are hands-on and enjoy spending time with their children when not occupied with work obligations. They seek someone who understands when to step back and assist in other areas to allow one-on-one time between parents and children. The nanny will transport the children to and from school and activities when the parents are unavailable. The household is easygoing, focusing on maintaining a peaceful home filled with good vibes and love. The pay is $25-$30/hr gross via payroll, with benefits including paid holidays, vacation, and sick days.

Ultimately, they are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual who will organize, and keep the house clean (mainly kitchen and family areas and kids rooms); be responsible for meal prep, and engage with the kiddos. The ideal candidate brings great energy into the home, has a strong work ethic, and a can-do attitude. The ability to read the room, and understand when to step in or out based on family dynamics, is crucial. The current nanny will provide training at the end of September, with an ideal start date of October 1st. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who can seamlessly integrate into a loving family and provide exceptional support.
