OXFORD, MI (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY)- A loving family is seeking a dedicated and nurturing FULL-TIME, LIVE-OUT NANNY for their 2 children ages 2.5 and 1-year-old. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising the children, engaging them in age-appropriate activities, and fostering a safe and stimulating environment. Duties will also include organizing the playroom, cleaning up after the children, preparing meals, and assisting with the children’s laundry and tidying around the children’s areas. The nanny will need to have their own vehicle and may use the family’s vehicle when the parents are present. 

Hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. The family has no preference on vaccines. Nanny will not need to travel with the family. 

Other responsibilities also include naps, diaper changes, potty training assistance, picking up and driving to activities, and occasional light meal preparation for dinner on late work nights. Both children will be attending a toddler program starting in August 2024, Tuesdays through Thursdays, 8:30am to 11:30am. The family has one dog, and the nanny will be responsible for ensuring the dog’s water bowl is filled and letting him out for bathroom breaks throughout the day.

Pay is $25-30/hr, gross via payroll. Benefits include 3 weeks of paid time off that can be used for vacation, sick days, or personal time, Additionally, the nanny will be compensated for any time off during the family’s vacation. Start date is flexible, anticipated for the end of May or early June. 

Qualifications

BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study 

CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)

Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position

A passion for working with children

Two+ years childcare experience

Excellent work and personal references

U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)

Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership
 
Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus

Competent swimmer

Non-smoker

Willing to go through extensive Background Check

Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident

Willingness to show proof of immunizations

No-cell phone driving signed guarantee

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
