Overview

Three White Siblings

LINCOLN, NE (NATIONWIDE SEARCH): Incredible working parents seek a compassionate and organized FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT NANNY/HOUSEHOLD MANAGER to join their warm and loving family of 5. Hours are from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. They seek an individual who can wear many hats! A Jill/Jack of all trades who can provide care in a nurturing environment for the children, but also help keep the household running like a well-oiled machine.

The family resides on a picturesque property featuring scenic walking trails and ponds just 10 miles north of Lincoln. They have boy/girl twins aged 10 and a 9-year-old boy, each bringing their own unique personality to the household. Rooted in Christian values, the family seeks a nanny who can uphold these beliefs while providing exceptional care and support. They also have three beloved fur babies–2 dogs (Goldendoodle and a Maltipoo), an outdoor cat, and fish.

This is a dynamic nanny/household management hybrid role. The day starts at 7:30am helping to get the children ready and off to school. A family car is provided for use while on the job. Household duties will take place while the children are in school. These duties include but are not limited to coordinating with external service providers, managing household budgets, handling daily family laundry and organizational tasks, car maintenance, planning and preparing nutritious meals for the family, maintaining daily schedules/managing the family calendar, running errands, planning family events, as well as taking inventory and restocking food and other household items. The family's commitment to maintaining a tidy and organized home is evident, as they employ a cleaning crew for weekly deep cleaning. However, the Nanny/ Household Manager is expected to uphold these standards daily, especially during special occasions or events.

You will put on your “child whisperer” hat when you pick up the kids in the afternoon. Once home, you will assist with homework and assignments, provide a nutritious snack/meal, ensure the children complete their chores, cook up fun activities and outings to keep them engaged and learning, and help prepare for and shuttle them to afterschool activities. There are opportunities to travel!

The ideal candidate is eager to please, caring, engaging, proactive, thorough, and self-motivated. Ability to juggle multiple projects and quickly pivot as needed (flexibility) are necessary qualities for this position as well. Someone who is a “doer,” hyper-organized with an “everything has their place” mentality, and is confident and able to work independently.  They seek an innately nurturing individual with a passion for supporting families and creating a harmonious home environment. They have had an amazing 8-year run with their previous nanny and are eager to welcome a new member into their fun-loving family!

Pay is $25/hour plus overtime, paid on the books. Benefits include paid sick days, holidays, vacation, and health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). This position is LIVE OUT; housing is not provided. Local candidates are preferred, but the family is open to out-of-state candidates and will discuss a relocation stipend. Start date is ASAP!
