BAY AREA, CA (INTERNATIONAL SEARCH) - A wonderful family is seeking a FULL-TIME LONG-TERM FRENCH SPEAKING NANNY/GOVERNESS to join their family and assist in caring for their two school-aged children.

 

The schedule is a split shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:15 am to 8:15/8:30 am to assist in the morning drop-off. The nanny will then have the day off and then return from 3:30 pm to 8:30 pm to assist in school pick-ups and transporting to and from after-school activities such as tutoring, sports practice. The family will provide the nanny vehicle. Additionally, the family would like the nanny to help with tutoring for 2 hours on Saturday and Sunday, which can be done via Zoom on one of the days. The family is happy to be flexible with this and will guarantee 40 hours a week of pay.

 

Apart from drop-offs and pick-ups, the nanny will be responsible for light housekeeping, child laundry, and helping with tidying up. Meal preparation and light cooking in the morning and afternoon will also be expected.

 

The family is looking for a native French speaker to help promote their children's education and assist with the French school curriculum. Prospective international candidates must hold a valid visa and working permit for consideration. They are looking for a goal-oriented person who will inspire and motivate the kids, possessing a good sense of humor and a positive attitude. They want to find someone who loves their career and will help instill good manners in the children.

 

The family is willing to offer relocation assistance for the right fit. Benefits include 10 days of PTO, 5 sick days, and paid federal holidays. Pay is $45/hr gross via payroll. The start date is ASAP!

Qualifications

BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study 

CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)

Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position

A passion for working with children

Two+ years childcare experience

Excellent work and personal references

U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)

Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership
 
Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus

Competent swimmer

Non-smoker

Willing to go through extensive Background Check

Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident

Willingness to show proof of immunizations

No-cell phone driving signed guarantee

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
