They are seeking someone who is engaging, active, and able to assist with educational activities and homework. When their children are in school, Family Assistant tasks will be part of this position to aid in the household running smoothly. Must be a team player as there will be other staff members in the home.

The children are fun-loving, energetic, kind, and curious. They like to be challenged and enjoy anything fun and competitive! School hours are from 7:30am-3pm, with after-school activities begin right after most days. Managing commutes to-and-from school, activities, and home will be part of this role. Once home, dinner will be prepared by the nanny followed by ensuring homework is completed, children are prepared for next day, and bedtime routines are implemented. Tasks such as meal prep, organizing backpacks for the next day, children’s laundry, and household management tasks will be a key part of this position.

The schedule is Monday - Friday from 12pm until 8pm. The family lives in the heart of Manhattan, close to trains, Central Park, the children’s schools, and activities. The family travels throughout the year, especially to their homes in Connecticut, Maine, and Montana; must be willing to travel, both domestically and internationally. The nanny will ideally be able to drive the family car, when needed, as well as being able to swim with the children when traveling. Nanny will have private accommodations to live-in when traveling. The family will be traveling in June and July, at minimum, so please be prepared to travel during this time. However, some travel may be shared amongst staff with advance notice.
