BRADENTON, FL (NATIONWIDE SEARCH) - Amazing family is seeking a FULL-TIME LIVE-IN/OUT NANNY/MOTHER’S ASSISTANT for their 3 children; a 7-year-old son with Special Needs, a 3-year-old daughter, and a 2-month-old son. The hours are Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm with flexibility for overtime. The main duties of the nanny will be assisting in care for the older 2 children while the mother balances help caring for the infant. The oldest son has issues that are respiratory in nature, and the candidate must be health-conscious with regard to respiratory viruses. He has gone through some medical challenges but is now thriving. He is extremely sweet but developmentally delayed in several aspects. The mother will be homeschooling the 7-year-old son and does not expect the nanny to directly educate him. If the candidate has a background in teaching and would like to be involved in the homeschooling process, that is a bonus, but not required. 

The perfect candidate is trustworthy, patient, and kind. Although not essential, they would be interested in a nanny with experience in speech therapy, ABA, or physical therapy with children or a background in early childhood development.

The live-in accommodations include a private bedroom and bathroom on the second floor with a separate living room space that is not currently used by the family. The children and parents stay in the main level of the home. There is also an option to stay in a 26-foot Airstream on the property with a Queen bed, kitchen, bathroom, shower, and complete privacy. 

The family has a pool in the backyard and lives roughly 10 minutes from the beach, so the candidate needs to be comfortable swimming with the children and understand swim safety. The family loves to be outdoors and would like a nanny who is comfortable with their active lifestyle.

Dad works from home and travels occasionally from work while Mom is a SAHM. Both parents are involved and relaxed and are seeking a partner to help grow their children. There is no expectation to drive the children at this time. 

Vaccinations are preferred, but not required. Relocation expenses are available and negotiable. Benefits include PTO + Paid Holidays. Start date is ASAP. Pay is $25-40/hr based on experience.
