CAMBRIDGE, MA (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY): Lovely, caring Cambridge family seeks an engaging and active FULL-TIME, LIVE-OUT nanny to join their team of four! Primary care will be for their daughter (4) and their son (2). The schedule will be Monday - Friday, from 7:30am to 5:30pm. Possible additional overtime hours and overnights may be discussed and agreed upon ahead of time. The family has loved their nanny of four years but is now looking for someone who can provide more of an educational and mentoring role as their children enter school-age and active years. A team player who loves interacting with children and providing enriching and educational activities will thrive in this role.

Mom and Dad both work full-time jobs with busy schedules. Their daughter is described as someone who is curious and busy, and enjoys talking to grown-ups and playing pretend! Their son loves cars and trucks, is always happy, and never stops moving. They are hoping to find someone to match their energy!

Duties will include but are not limited to getting the children ready for the day. The daughter goes to a school within walking distance from 8am-12pm daily; the nanny will need to escort and/or drive their daughter to school with her younger brother along for the walk/ride! A daily housekeeper is in the home so light cleaning after the children, and possible organizational tasks, will be part of this role. Driving will be a requirement of the job; the parents would like the children to venture out of the home to activities such as the Dinosaur Museum or Museum of Science. They do also have a Labradoodle so you must love dogs and be able to walk her as needed!

The family lives in a nice walkable area near Harvard University. A parking permit will be provided by the family for parking that is within walking distance of the home. There is public transportation nearby as well. While the family does not have specific travel itineraries, they are looking for someone who is able to travel with them, both domestically and internationally. All vaccines required, including COVID + boosters.

The start date is ASAP. Pay is $25+, commensurate with experience, gross pay via payroll. Paid Sick Days, Holidays, and PTO included.
