WALNUT CREEK, CA - Lovely family with one precocious 3-year-old girl and gentle 5- year-old boy with a moderate Autism Spectrum diagnosis looking for a dependable, consistent, kind and patient NANNY to join their household! Schedule is MTWTHF from 7:45 AM to 5 PM Pay is commensurate with experience via payroll and they are offering 10 days PTO + 5 sick days and  $100/mo stipend towards your medical premium.  They have one cat.  They are looking for  someone who is extremely dependable  and professional that will be a partner to their family for the longhaul - who will not call out five minutes before they are expected at work, or call out repeatedly. They are understanding people and get that life happens, communication is of utmost importance to them!  Prior experience working with children with developmental differences (e.g., behaviorist or working with speech delays) is a plus, but absolutely not required. They are happy to offer extra hours as well, if desired. Currently, their son goes to school five days a week, and their daughter three days, both in the morning to early afternoon, so the schedule will include downtime after school drop off and a nanny with a willingness to help out with errands during that downtime is a major plus.  The kiddos are both kind, playful, and self-assured.  Must have your own reliable car and an excellent driving record. Both parents primarily work from home.  You are mostly responsible for taking the kids to and from school, preparing healthy meals and snacks, engaging in imaginative play, homework help and having fun!  They are seeking someone who is gentle and confident, who enjoys being helpful, and is thoroughly engaged with the kids and passionate about being a nanny!


BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study 

CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)

Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position

A passion for working with children

Two+ years childcare experience

Excellent work and personal references

U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)

Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership
Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus

Competent swimmer


Willing to go through extensive Background Check

Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident

Willingness to show proof of immunizations

No-cell phone driving signed guarantee

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
