LOS ANGELES (LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED)- High-profile family seeks 2-3 FULL-TIME NANNIES to help bring order and steadiness to their bustling household! They have four children: two girls, ages 7 and 8, as well as 2-year-old and newborn boys. The schedule is somewhat variable, but will be heavy weekends, from approximately 7am-8pm Saturday and Sunday, as well as a few weekday afternoons, around 2pm when the girls get home from school until approx. 8pm. WEEKENDS WILL ROTATE! There may also be opportunities for morning hours. Must be willing to work a fluid schedule. Flexibility is key!
They often travel during school breaks both domestically and internationally. Must have a valid passport and know how to navigate a busy airport with children in tow! Parents may also travel without the kids, so some overnights will be required, although the head nanny usually handles overnights. Nannies will be responsible for tag-teaming with mom and the nanny team to either care for the youngest two and/or help get their sisters to and from school and after-school activities. Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and be confident driving in LA traffic. A nanny vehicle will be provided while on the job. This is a full-charge nanny position. Thus, nannies will be responsible for all things related to the children such as packing for travel, tidying after the children, kids’ laundry, ordering items for the home, taking inventory, and everything in between to help lighten mom’s load! They currently do not have pets but plan to get a dog in the near future.
The eldest two have very strong personalities and need someone who can set rules and boundaries and hold them to those boundaries. Parents look to the nannies to establish these expectations and need help wrangling them in. Someone who carries authority and doesn’t give in easily will do well in this role. Teamwork is a huge part of this position. They seek a drama-free team of nannies who work well with others and can divide and conquer to get the job done. Must have open communication with mom and fellow household staff. The ideal candidate takes initiative, identifies what needs to be done, and rolls up their sleeves to do it! Someone who is always 2 steps ahead! Must be vaccinated for COVID.
Pay is open depending on experience. Benefits include a health insurance stipend and paid time off. Start date is ASAP!
