SUMMIT, NJ (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY)- Active family seeking a FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT NANNY for their 4 kids (11-year-old boy, 10-year-old girl, 7-year-old boy, 4-year-old boy). This family is fun, kind, and seeking a nanny that will not be a second mom, but instead be an extension of mom offering a second set of hands. The oldest son has ADHD controlled via medication. The family stays in Summit, NJ during the school year, but spends most of their summer in Westhampton, NY. Duties include light laundry for the children, picking up around the house after play, helping keep an inventory of food and household items, meal prep for the kids, and being an overall jack of all trades.  The perfect candidate will be a self-starter who is able to read the room and anticipate the needs of the family before being asked. The hours are 2 pm - 10 pm Monday - Friday with the flexibility to occasionally work weekends, date nights, or help the family get ready for school in the morning. The children will be in school during the day until around 2 pm, so the main focus of childcare will be in the afternoon/evening. The family is active in sports and may need the nanny to drive the children to and from activities. The family has the ability to have an additional car but would prefer the nanny to have their own transportation. Mileage reimbursement provided at the federal mileage rate. The nanny needs to be a team player with the mom as well as other household staff. They have a daily housekeeper and an additional person to do deep cleaning twice a week.  The family will take a private vacation for 2-weeks during Christmas and the nanny will have that time off and be paid. They spend the summers in Westhampton and would want the nanny to have the flexibility to work with them there. Nanny must be a non-smoker with the flu vaccine. Benefits include PTO + sick days. Pay is $30-35/hr. Start date ASAP.
