BETHESDA, MD (OPEN TO ALL US CANDIDATES)-Wonderful, down-to-earth parents in the DC area are looking for a FULL-TIME, LIVE-IN NANNY to care for their 2.5-year-old girl and 2-month-old baby boy. Schedule is 10 hours/day 5 days per week plus the option to work a few hours over the weekend if desired (not required). Hours are 8:30am-6:30pm Monday-Friday. The eldest attends school down the street from 9am-3pm Monday-Friday. The youngest will start at the same school in July. During that time, they will institute a mid-day break when both kids are in school (open for discussion when that time comes). Nanny will be responsible for taking the children to school. Family car is provided. Must have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license. Duties in addition to childcare include walking the dogs (they have two small 40-lb terriers--No shedding!), meal prep for the kids, laundry for the kids, etc. The ideal candidate is caring and loving but doesn’t over coddle and instead helps to foster independence. Pay is $25/hour. Benefits include 2 weeks paid vacation, 1 week sick leave and 6 paid federal holidays. Living accommodations consist of a furnished garage studio apartment with a private entrance, private bath, television, internet, kitchen, dishwasher and microwave. They also have a pool available for use. Start date is ASAP!
