MANHATTAN BEACH, CA- Family in the South Bay looking for a FULL-TIME NANNY M-F.The schedule is typically: M Tu W 8AM-5PM and Weds & Friday 8AM-3PM. Pay is $25-30/hr, DOE. Both parents work full-time. Primary care is for their 3-month-old girl; but their two boys ages 5 and 4 years old will be around in the afternoon from 4PM (after school) on, and even though you won't be responsible for them, it is ideal that you are comfortable around and enjoy preschooler/kindergartners as well as infants! They are looking for someone to ideally join their family long-term, so your responsibilities in regards to care (1 year from now) could shift to helping with the boys or taking them to activities, etc. You will be responsible for the following duties including, but not limited to: feeding, playing, teaching and engaging with their infant' meal prep when she starts to eat, cleaning up after her, planning activities relevant to her age, etc. This is the most important trait they are looking for in someone-- a nanny who is fully hands-on, patient, energetic, engaging and passionate about child development and in helping her reach and exceed milestones! They are looking for someone who is a true professional; someone who is loving, nurturing and gentle and also someone who is trustworthy, dependable and able to use discretion as both parents from home and you may overhear confidential conversations, etc. Ideal candidate genuinely loves children and lights up around them! Must be taking COVID seriously and minimizing your risk when not on the job. Must be a safe driver but really not any driving necessary. They have a car you can use or you can use your own. They are a happy, fun, and easy-going household, so someone with the same temperament will thrive here!
