CLEARWATER, MN-Surgeons are seeking a professional and experienced FULL-TIME NANNY for their good-natured, eager to please 4-year-old boy and shy but friendly 2-year-old girl. Hours are 7am-4pm Monday, Wednesday and Thursday and from 7am-5pm Tuesday and Friday (45-50 hours/week). Both parents are in the medical field, thus dependability and punctuality is a MUST, as is flexibility. Parents’ schedules can vary from day to day but in general they are able to offer estimated schedules on a weekly basis. Flexibility is key! Must be okay working 10-hour shifts. On rare occasions, both parents may be on call and would need the nanny to stay later. They usually can foresee these events within 24 -48 hrs of the day. Rarely are they both on call, and if so, they ask their nanny to be on back up, in case they are both called in at the same time. LIVE-OUT is preferred, however they are open to candidates temporarily living in and are open to providing a relocation stipend if necessary for OUT OF STATE CANDIDATES. The eldest is in school full time. Parents take turns dropping him and picking him up but may need the nanny to do so from time to time.  Family car is provided. The youngest is at home currently but may attend preschool in the future to socialize. If that is the case, nanny will be asked to take on more of a household management role. Currently though she is home all day and nanny would keep a strict schedule of getting dressed after brushing teeth, review day of the week on calendar, do arts and craft, some teaching, alphabets, numbers or other educational activity. Snack at 10:30 AM, outdoors backyard playground or walk around the neighborhood. Lunch at 11:45am-12pm, then nap at 12:30 PM. She usually sleeps 1.5-2 hrs. Nanny expected to do light housekeeping during naptime such as loading and unloading dishwasher, vacuuming and Swiffer kitchen floors, wiping table and counter tops, cleaning kids’ booster chairs, laundry (washing, folding and putting away kids clothes), tidying up kids’ play spaces, etc. They have two small dogs just require to be fed if parents cannot get to it. They are looking for a nanny who genuinely enjoys children and sees the talents and gifts of each child;  is patient and creative to redirect when children are being difficult without being condescending; Honest - from little things to big things; Punctual and reliable - they are busy and both surgeons and need reliable childcare; Able to multi - task and handle sometimes chaotic mornings; Takes initiative to identify tasks around the house that would be helpful to their day to day routine. They provide a fixed number of PTO days that can be used as sick or paid vacation. They request no vacation days within the first 3 months of hire unless the family is going on vacation and highly encourage that the nanny take vacation days during family vacation days. Will pay toward health insurance stipend after a 2-month trial period. Pay is DOE. Start date is open for the right candidate.
