NATIONWIDE SEARCH! WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY- Lovely family looking for a FULL-TIME LIVE-IN NANNY who is loving, energetic, trustworthy and who has a positive attitude!  They are willing to help with relocation within reason (i.e., paying for transportation/mileage reimbursement). Hours are primarily M-F 9AM-5PM with some flexibility. They have one curious and sweet two-year-old son and and are looking for someone to join and grow with their family! For health & safety, they are taking serious COVID-19 precautions. Thus, they need their nanny to be on board with taking highly cautious and preventative measures as well as limiting any non-essential outings, as their family’s health & safety and that of the nanny is of top priority. They are ideally seeking an upbeat, highly organized candidate, who has a strong track record of working with families/children (multiple strong references needed), and who possesses a background in childhood development and/or early childhood education. Ideal candidate is creative, highly engaging, and someone who understands children's development milestones, needs and learning opportunities. Nanny must be willing to engage fully and play with the child to create a positive environment, in which the child feels loved & cared for, safe, and highly engaged. The ideal nanny candidate will be excited to teach and spend time outside playing (large backyard green space) with their son as well as indoors playing, reading, learning, doing arts/crafts activities, music, games, sports, etc. You should be able to anticipate the family's needs by being proactive and thinking ahead to make lives easier for the parents. For example, keeping track of children's items that will need to be restocked, maintaining a list of groceries that will need to be purchased in advance. Looking for someone that is an extension of the parents when it comes to their child(ren)'s development and becomes part of the family. While both parents are currently working from home during the pandemic, and are hands-on parents, they would like the nanny to come in and have autonomy and space to carry out her role. Newborn/infant/toddler experience also a plus. Potential candidates will also be willing to occasionally cook for/with the family (sharing/rotating in making dinner & dining together as well), do light housekeeping, pick up after child(ren), be comfortable driving the child to/from classes and playdates (post-pandemic) - clear & safe driving record absolutely crucial! You will be responsible for all childcare related duties including, but not limited to: basic child-based housekeeping, laundry, and ordering & preparing food, etc. ONLINE ordering only. They are truly ready to welcome the perfect fit into their home to join their family and will consider candidates through the Northeast willing to relocate to the area. Must be willing to strictly quarantine for 2 weeks prior to start. Post-pandemic, domestic and international travel with the family is likely; passport for travel preferred. Amenities / Room & Board include:  separate personal private quarters that include private bedroom with queen size bed, large closet, flat screen TV, built-in cabinetry, en-suite bathroom with vanity and spa-style shower, access to a large finished basement with lounge space, half-kitchen, and gym; spacious backyard with plenty of tranquil green space, and pool & spa. Pay is negotiable based on experience & credentials and they are willing to pay a higher salary to anyone willing to take on a HOUSEHOLD MANAGER role and COOK for the entire family + PTO + overtime pay, room for growth over time based on job performance, opportunity for bonuses, etc.
