NEW YORK, NY- (11215)- Canadian/Australian family in Park Slope looking for a FULL-TIME NANNY M-F 8:30AM-6:30PM to join their lovely household! They have two adorable children ages 3 (girl) and 1 (boy) years old; their eldest is in pre-school in the mornings, and youngest naps during this time. You will be responsible for picking her up from school, prepping lunch, nap, snacks, facilitating play and educational activities, light housekeeping, etc. Their eldest is shy at first but overall she is extremely social, outgoing, silly, artsy and active! Their youngest is a typical boy who loves to jump, play, dance, is very social and smiles all the time! They are seeking a nanny who is wholeheartedly invested in their children, who can be an authoritative figure but in no ways militant or rigid. They want someone who is warm and loving, communicative and kind. They prefer someone who is physically active, energetic, passionate, fun; tender & easy-going as opposed to regimented and stern. It would be ideal if this person lives locally to Brooklyn and is extremely reliable and punctual! Ideally they are looking for at least a two year commitment but would love someone to stay on long-term. Pay is commensurate with experience, $60-65 annual gross salary (inclusive of overtime) + PTO (1 week your choice, 1 week family's choice- although typically you will have up to 6 weeks vacation), 5 paid sick days, 10 holidays paid + Subway pass. Both children will attend French school so it is ideal that the nanny speaks French fluently. Their daughter has a mild allergy to select seafood. Ideal candidate is artistic, creative and loves arts & crafts, singing, dancing and helping the children grow physically, emotionally and intellectually!
