BETHESDA, MD-Wonderful, laid-back parents are seeking a FULL-TIME NANNY for their lively and thoughtful 3-year-old and happy 4-month-old girls Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5:30pm (flexibility to stay until 6pm on occasion if work runs late). LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY. Currently both parents work from home due to the pandemic but are expected to return to the office once the pandemic clears. Must have own car and pristine driving record. Their eldest is very playful and energetic. She participates in the local library’s virtual story time, spends a lot of time outside (must love the outdoors!) and naps for about an hour each day. Like many three-year-olds, she needs some help with transitions and benefits from a certain amount of structure during the day, but also needs time for free play. She may attend preschool in the future once COVID is no longer a threat. Her baby sister is a great sleeper and naps for about an hour every 2-2.5 hours. When she is awake, she enjoys tummy time and going on walks. Overall, she is a happy baby, easy to keep on a schedule and rarely fusses. She is the process of transitioning to bottle feeding and the family is happy to help the nanny through this transition. They seek a nanny who has INFANT EXPERIENCE who knows the ins and outs of bottle feeding, offering naps, scheduling, etc. Someone who is caring, dependable, and creative in taking care of their girls. Their eldest thrives with more stimulation, so someone who will read to her and engage in imaginative play while also working on pre-reading and preschool skills will be a great fit. Must be accommodating to their parenting and discipline styles and preferences. A PLUS if you speak s second language (a tiebreaker, not a dealbreaker). They have been very careful in regard to COVID-19 precautions with an infant in the home and would like for their nanny to do the same by avoiding crowded indoor areas, public transportation, and abiding by CDC guidelines. They have two cats in the home (no pet allergies, please!). Pay is $20-25/hour and benefits include paid sick days, holidays and vacation. Start date is ASAP!
