AUSTIN, TX-Open minded, progressive parents near Zilker are seeking a PART -TIME NANNY to care for their newborn baby boy due July 25 for 4-6 hours per day M-F. LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY. Ideal schedule is from 9am-3pm Monday-Friday. They are passionate about health and fitness and seek a caregiver who has high standards for their own physical and mental health so they can demonstrate a healthy, conscious lifestyle to their child. They are looking for a “playmate” for their son. Someone who can stay off their phone/devices, use their imagination and be willing to allow their little one to try to do as many things as he can on his own instead of doing every task for him. They want to make sure they have a nanny who really understands their child’s unique physical, emotional and cognitive needs. Strong preference for someone who studied child psychological development and is versed in attachment parenting and care. They seek a reliable caregiver who can take care of their child’s needs in a quiet, calm environment and use facial expression and speech to aid in developmental growth and recognition of social cues. They would love a nanny who is willing to take the child outside, get on their hands and knees and play, tell stories, plan enriching developmental activities and model appropriate behavior. Position comes with opportunities for exciting travel!  Duties in addition to childcare include running errands, meal prep and laundry. Must have a safe, reliable vehicle and clean driving record.
