MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA - Wonderful family looking for a FULL-TIME LIVE-IN (OR LIVE OUT IF LOCAL CANDIDATE) PROFESSIONAL NANNY to join their loving home! The primary care will be for their 8-month-old daughter with Special Needs, and they have a 2.5 year old who will have separate childcare arrangements.  Their daughter has developmental delays, is being fed through a feeding tube and may develop Cerebral Palsy down the road.  40+ hrs per week; must be flexible generally speaking! The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years’ experience caring for infants and toddlers; experience working with children w/ special needs (developmental delays); and experience or training in pediatric nursing, early intervention, early childhood education, physical/occupational/speech and language therapy, or related fields is a huge plus.  Looking for someone who is responsible, reliable, discreet (able to maintain confidentiality), organized, good collaboration and communication skills, patient, gentle and loving.  Must be able to provide high quality, child-focused care, be actively engaged and responsive, follow a learning through play philosophy, and most importantly love their baby!  Pay is commensurate with experience, skillset, etc. Willing to offer more in compensation for a candidate with experience in PT/OT as well as nanny experience. Family car provided while on the job – while off the job negotiable. They are open to considering candidates outside of the Bay Area, but you must be willing and able to cover your own relocation costs, they do NOT plan on providing assistance. Start date is ASAP. 



  • Infant/child CPR and First Aid trained and certified
  • Must pass extensive background check
  • Proficiency in English required; multiple languages (especially Mandarin Chinese) are a plus
  • Minimum of High School Diploma; college degree strongly preferred
  • Follow all CDC guidelines re: COVID and physical distancing
  • Non-smoker and drug-free
  • Up to date on immunizations
  • Driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Willingness to participate in additional trainings as needed


  • Primary job duties:
    • Ensure infant safety, health, happiness, and comfort. This may include dressing, feeding, diapering, playing, napping the baby, and general infant care.
    • Promote infant learning and development through reading, music, movement, sensory play, etc. Active engagement and responsiveness at all times is a must.
    • Special needs duties (training will be required) primarily include administering breast milk via a feeding tube, doing physical therapy and oral motor exercises, and working alongside the family and the child’s care team to provide personalized care as needed.
    • Tracking all diaper counts, feedings, naps, developmental milestones, and maintaining a daily log of what happened throughout the day.
    • Childcare-related chores. This may include washing bottles, doing laundry, packing go-bags, restocking supplies, cleaning up, etc.
    • Any additional tasks to be discussed in person


BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study 

CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)

Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position

A passion for working with children

Two+ years childcare experience

Excellent work and personal references

U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)

Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership
Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus

Competent swimmer


Willing to go through extensive Background Check

Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident

Willingness to show proof of immunizations

No-cell phone driving signed guarantee

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Hourly Rate

USD $60,000.00/Yr.
