TOPANGA, CA-Wonderful parents are looking for a FULL-TIME nanny for their 4-year-old boy and 2-year-old girl 9AM-5PM Monday-Friday with some flexibility for occasional date nights and weekends. Ideal nanny is FULLY ENGAGED and exudes passion for children, this is your career not just another gig-- you are creative, fun, resourceful and active!  Looking for somoene who loves to be out and about at the playground, museums, music class, etc.  Additional duties include grocery shopping and running errands. They live in a beautiful mountain town across the street from a state park.  The ideal candidate is warm and affectionate, but in control and able to garner the kids’ respect. Must be able to discipline/parent within the family’s guidelines and ensure consistency. They are looking for someone with energy to keep up with two youngsters, who isn't afraid to run around and play in the dirt but also help keep the household running smoothly. Must be able to help prep healthy meals, pack lunches, be organized and willing to make sure their home is clean at the end of the day (they have a weekly housekeeper). Need to be a safe driver with a reliable vehicle and be comfortable driving up and down the canyon (mileage reimbursement provided). They need someone who feels like home, can become part of the family and understands that this is a big job with high expectations. They would love for their nanny to vacation with them once or twice a year, mostly domestic trips to their vacation home in Joshua Tree and Lake Arrowhead. Pay is $25/hr gross via payroll + PTO. Local candidates only (relocation assistance not provided).  MUST BE HYPERVIGILANT REGARDING COVID-19 and practice safe social distancing, wear a mask when in public, vigorously wash hands, etc. Start date is ASAP! If you prefer to LIVE IN, they will be opening up with guest house in SEPTEMBER. LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY!!!


BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study 

CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)

Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position

A passion for working with children

Two+ years childcare experience

Excellent work and personal references

U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)

Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership
Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus

Competent swimmer


Willing to go through extensive Background Check

Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident

Willingness to show proof of immunizations

No-cell phone driving signed guarantee

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
