INDIANAPOLIS, IN-Fantastic parents are seeking a FULL-TIME NANNY/GOVERNESS for their four busy kiddos, ages 10 (boy), 7 (boy) and 2-year-old twin girls. The schedule depends upon whether the eldest two will be in school in the fall due to COVID-19. If they are in school, the schedule is typically from 7am-6pm four days/week; if they are not in school, the schedule will likely be from 7:30/8am-5pm Monday-Friday. Ultimately, they need someone totally FLEXIBLE and willing to work a somewhat fluid schedule. Schedule typically calls for 40 hours/week and generally does not exceed 50 unless they are traveling. They have a part-time nanny and housekeeper who cleans twice per week. Duties consist of complete childcare, taking the kids to and from school and activities, meal prep for the kids and dinner for the family a few times per week. Must be comfortable in the kitchen but no need to be a gourmet chef! The kids have food allergies and eat organic. Parents will eat leftovers/whatever the kids eat for dinner. Household management tasks include grocery shopping/decontaminating grocery deliveries, meal prep, laundry for the family, running errands (family car provided) and overseeing household maintenance/vendors as needed. They have a pool and therefore require a nanny who is vigilant and able to swim. The family travels about 5 times per year (once the COVID crisis lifts) and would love for their nanny to join! Their travels typically take them to their second home in Honduras in December/January, April and October, as well as Florida/a cruise in February. Stays are typically 1 week in duration and 1-3 weeks in the summer. Weekend help and overnights may be required a couple times per year. Most often the kids’ grandmother stays overnight when both parents travel solo and has the nanny help during the daytime. Both parents work from home year-round. They are ideally seeking someone who is a CAREER NANNY/GOVERNESS. Someone who is experienced and able to efficiently and kindly manage 4 children and their schedules. They want someone who has travel experience, a current passport and who is ideally BILINGUAL in Spanish and English- would also be open to someone who only speaks Spanish with no English. Most importantly, they are looking for someone who works well with their family dynamic, can adjust quickly to changes in schedule (due to parents’ work), readily available to travel (though they are currently not traveling due to COVID and take that very seriously). They want someone who is fun, engaging, enjoys playing with children, and can manage typical child behaviors, such as tantrums, with patience and consistency. Must be flexible and willing to jump in and do what needs to be done; anticipate the family’s needs. Due to the current pandemic, they expect anyone they hire to take SOCIAL DISTANCING and CDC guidelines very seriously and be willing to work with only their family. OPEN TO ALL US CANDIDATES. Relocation assistance is provided but housing is not. Position is LIVE-OUT ONLY. Pay is $18-25/hour. Benefits include paid sick days, holidays and vacation. Start date is August to train with their current nanny and sole charge to begin September 1st.

BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study 

CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)

Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position

A passion for working with children

Two+ years childcare experience

Excellent work and personal references

U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)

Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership
Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus

Competent swimmer


Willing to go through extensive Background Check

Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident

Willingness to show proof of immunizations

No-cell phone driving signed guarantee

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
