MIAMI, FL-Fabulous interracial gay couple relocating from San Francisco to Miami is seeking a FULL-TIME NANNY for their sweet, independent 18-month-old son from 7am-3pm Monday-Friday. They will be in living in a spacious 3000-square-foot condo with a pool in Edgewater but will be purchasing a larger home with a pool in either Coral Gables, Coconut Grove or Pinecrest by the end of the year. They are open to out-of-state candidates and willing to provide relocation assistance for the right person, but HOUSING IS NOT PROVIDED; position is LIVE OUT ONLY. Child is sweet and shy with a calm demeanor. He keeps to a schedule well, is a quick learner and is interested in the Montessori way of learning. He has an allergy to fish and has an EpiPen but hasn’t had to use it. They plan to travel internationally once a year once their son is a bit older (2021) as well as take a few domestic trips each year and would love for their nanny to join! No trips are planned or anticipated for 2020. Duties in addition to childcare include laundry for the family, light housekeeping while the child sleeps and meal/snack prep for child. They have weekly housekeepers but would like the nanny to help keep their home neat and tidy and stay on top of laundry. The ideal candidate is professional, has an Early Childhood Development background, is versed in Montessori and is bilingual (English and Spanish is preferred, but not a deal-breaker!). Must be professional but also be able to hangout and have fun with the family! They are looking for someone who is willing to follow the parents’ lead but not be afraid to share their own ideas and work together. Both parents work from home and are looking for someone who is not too set in their ways and able to follow their preferences and discipline style. Most importantly, they seek someone who is engaging and willing to get down on their hands and knees to play with their sweet boy! Pay is $18-23/hour via payroll. Benefits include paid sick days, holidays and vacation. Start date is summer 2020 (flexible start date for the right candidate).
