WESTON, MA-Tightknit family 30 minutes outside of Boston is seeking a FULL-TIME, LIVE-IN NANNY/EDUCATOR to care for and help homeschool their two boys, ages 7 and 9 from 9:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday. They have two older teens who do not require care but are occasionally in the home when not away at boarding school. Both boys are into music, play instruments and enjoy art, reading and building things! They are looking for someone with a background in education and school-age tutoring/teaching experience who is able to motivate the kids to engage in schoolwork. Additional duties include basic childcare, running errands, cooking for the kids and being a good citizen of the home as a live-in nanny (helping with dishes, keep common areas neat and tidy, etc.). Both parents work in the home and have flexibility in their day to engage with the kids throughout the day. Position is OPEN TO ALL US CANDIDATES. Live in accommodations consist of entire basement floor with a private room, laundry room and bathroom. They live in a beautiful suburban area and have a small dog, fish, turtles and outdoor chickens for eggs.  Pet care is only needed if parents are traveling, which typically happens once a quarter for 1-2 nights max. Car is provided but nanny must reimburse for gas if used extensively for personal use. Must be a US licensed driver and have a clean driving record. Option to travel with the family on ski vacations and trips to their lake house. Must have valid passport and be a STRONG SWIMMER. They are a fun-loving, somewhat introverted family and are looking for a candidate who is adaptable, even tempered and willing to roll with whatever new situation the current pandemic might bring. They are a family who enjoys playing games together and invite their nanny to join! Benefits include paid holidays and vacation. Family is willing to make contributions toward health insurance premiums and educational expenses. They are very invested in the career of their nanny and would love for them to explore secondary interests! Pay is open DOE. Start date is September 1st.
