SOUTH FLORIDA (OPEN TO ALL US CANDIDATES)-Wonderful family is looking for TWO LONG-TERM, FULL-TIME EDUCATIONAL NANNIES/GOVERNESSES to help care for their 2 kids ages 9 months and 2 years. Hours are 7:30am-8:30/9pm 7 days per week. They are open to either a WEEKEND AND WEEKDAY nanny or true ROTATIONAL SCHEDULE.  Someone experienced and educated in the RIE/ Montessori approach, or willing to learn from the other nanny is desired. Must be able to provide a child-led environment with some structure. Bilingual in English + Spanish, Italian or French is a huge PLUS! A private ensuite room is provided while working if desired, but nanny will live out while off duty. Duties include providing a gentle, but lively, Montessori, child-led day. The children will continue to be home-schooled, so someone who can offer them a structured, developmentally appropriate day is a must. Additional duties include cleaning up after the children, running errands (mileage reimbursement provided—must have safe, reliable car and clean driving record), sanitizing bottles and light housekeeping (dishes, taking out the trash, keeping clean, neat, organized, etc.). Must be a team player, strong swimmer, organized and tidy, FLEXIBLE and able to carry a 30-40 lb. toddler up and down stairs. Must be willing to prepare fresh and healthy meals for the children. Must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally around 4-6 weeks per year. Benefits are available after 6 months and include healthcare stipend, paid time off, food stipend while on the job and holidays paid at time and a half if working. Pay is DOE via payroll. Start date is ASAP!

Home school (Montessori method), running errands, sanitizing bottles and light housekeeping 

Qualifications

BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study 

CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)

Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position

A passion for working with children

Two+ years childcare experience

Excellent work and personal references

U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)

Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership
 
Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus

Competent swimmer

Non-smoker

Willing to go through extensive Background Check

Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident

Willingness to show proof of immunizations

No-cell phone driving signed guarantee

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Incentives

Paid sick days, holidays, vacation and health insurance stipend. 

Hourly Rate

USD $25.00/Hr.

Number of Hours Per Week

26-65 (rotational)
