ORANGE COUNTY, CA- Super sweet family currently living in Huntington Beach with one 4.5 year old boy and 4-month-old boy looking for an educated, professional, patient and loving FULL-TIME NANNY to join their family!  They have recently relocated from NYC and will be eventually moving into a home in Newport or somewhere in Orange County.  Hours are M-F 7AM-7PM, Pay is commensurate with experience.  They are open to candidates willing to relocate, but their LOCAL candidates are given top priority. It is ideal for them to have someone LIVE OUT who already lives in / is familiar with the area. Nanny car is provided.  They do not have any pets. They will be bringing on an Au Pair who will live in and primarily be with the baby while the nanny will be with the eldest.  He has high functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder. He is VERY high functioning (verbal, is very sweet, etc.) but he does have social difficulties and can tend to have very rigid, atypical play habits. With his current therapies, they hope to have these behaviors mainstreamed in a few years.  In general, he requires a very thoughtful and attentive nanny; someone who can be fully engaged with him and who has his absolute best interest at heart! You will be responsible for helping with the morning routine, taking him to school, attending his classes as needed (at least a couple times a week); and with after-school pick-up, taking him to the park, to the library and or to various extracurricular activities.  The center he currently attends is so amazing and why they moved from the east coast.  The parents' top priority is to find someone who is experienced in such unique developmental needs and challenges their son currently faces; and someone who is loving and warm, and who also a strong & effective communicator with the parents and be an active member of their team; someone who can help them both foster and encourage/discourage appropriate vs. inappropriate behaviors. Looking for long-term candidate, so only serious applicants apply!
