    Professional couple in Rittenhouse Square looking for a long-term FULL-TIME COLLEGE-EDUCATED NANNY to join their loving household.  They have one three-and-a-half year old son who is as imaginative, tender and creative as he is musical, loud and boisterous!  Ideal candidate is a seasoned professional who has a background in Child Development and or Early Childhood Education; someone who is extremely engaging with their child and passionate about childcare overall.  They are looking for someone to grow with their family—someone who can challenge their son both mentally, emotionally and physically; someone who can implement education into learning, be active and fun but firm and maintain a consistent schedule! Hours are long (M-F 8/8:30AM- 6/7PM) so candidate must have stamina—the ability to keep up with this active toddler but to also help pitch in with household duties (cooking, laundry, organization, planning activities, etc.).  Flexibility to work a weeknight or weekend on the very rare occasion is also appreciated.  Both parents have very demanding jobs and need their nanny to take full charge! You will be responsible for maintain their family calendar including duties not limited to: coordinating reminders for all school events, meetings & social activities, scheduling doctor’s appointment, play dates, etc. You will also be responsible for wrangling their son to and from pre-school M, W F; helping with homework and school projects down the road and maintaining his existing while also developing new connections within the school and local neighborhood. In the home, you will be responsible for keeping inventory (kitchen/pantry supplies, school supplies, etc.); grocery shopping, cooking and encouraging their son to participate in meal prep and grocery selection.  Ideal candidate is loving, nurturing, intelligent; resourceful, hardworking and looking to make a long-term commitment!     BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study 

    CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)

    Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position

    A passion for working with children

    Two+ years childcare experience

    Excellent work and personal references

    U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)

    Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership
    Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus

    Competent swimmer


    Willing to go through extensive Background Check

    Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident

    Willingness to show proof of immunizations

    No-cell phone driving signed guarantee

    Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
