    YORBA LINDA, CA -LIVE IN OR LIVE OUT - High-profile, close-knit and private family in Yorba Linda looking for a PART to FULL-TIME NANNY for their two-year-old son. Hours and schedule are FLEXIBLE. Candidates must have flexibility to travel and stay overnight as needed. This position will have a 90-day trial as fit is of utmost importance to them. Trial will likely start as part-time and increase to full time once acclimated. This will be their first time hiring a nanny. Must work well with others as they have a full household staff. Ideal candidate has a TEAM PLAYER mentality; is easygoing; has a friendly disposition and is able to easily ADAPT, be quick on their feet and be able to maneuver an ever-changing schedule . Mom is VERY hands-on, and present throughout the day, so must be OK working with her directly. They are really looking for someone who wants a long-term fit and who will be committed to their family; someone who is passionate about childcare, educated in Child Development and experience working in high-profile homes. They are absolutely open to considering candidates willing to relocate but ideally, the candidate is already local. Live-in quarters provided if you prefer to live-in. Pay is $25-35/hr, DOE + OT and double time as necessary; PTO + Health Benefits provided. Your schedule will typically be five days on, two days off, seven days on, two days off and so on. You will rotate with other household staff members and be given no less than two weekends off a month. Someone who is experienced in helping to potty train, is a competent swimmer, has an ECE background is preferred. Must be comfortable driving family car and with running errands as needed, and pitching in with assistant type chores. They have four pets (two dogs, two cats) care for by the housekeeping staff. Ideal start date is in six weeks!
     

    Qualifications

    BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study 

    CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)

    Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position

    A passion for working with children

    Two+ years childcare experience

    Excellent work and personal references

    U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)

    Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership
     
    Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus

    Competent swimmer

    Non-smoker

    Willing to go through extensive Background Check

    Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident

    Willingness to show proof of immunizations

    No-cell phone driving signed guarantee

    Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
