    AUSTIN, TX-Sweet, busy mom is seeking a dependable LIVE-IN or -LIVE-OUT nanny to care for her sweet 4-year-old daughter. Hours are from 11AM-6PM Monday-Friday (35 hours/week). Position may become FULL TIME during the summer (May 27 to mid-August). Duties include dropping off and picking up from pre-school (mileage reimbursement provided); running errands, cooking for child who is on a restricted diet (must have an understanding of nutrition and be experienced in the kitchen!), helping with homework and helping with some light household duties such as laundry for the child and keeping the home tidy (no heavy cleaning)! Child has SENSORY PROCESSING DISORDER; ideal candidate has expereince/skilled with behavior management. Candidate must be a strong swimmer, FLUENT IN SPANISH, have a pristine driving record, be trustworthy and be able to TAKE CHARGE and INITIATIVE. Must also be attentive, limit screen time--get down and PLAY, and be full of SPIRIT and VITALITY! Nanny needs to be able to take command of a situation (not too rigid, of course!), but be open to constructive feedback. FLEXIBILITY is KEY! Mom’s work requires periodic travel sometimes on short notice. Travel requirements for the nanny may be to go on trips about once a quarter for approximately four days at a time. Perfect for those with a travel bug! In other cases, the nanny would be required to stay overnight when mom travels solo. Flexibility may also be needed to stay a bit later in the evenings. Family has a Golden Retriever (currently being trained to be a service dog)--must love dogs! Pay is DOE. Incentives include paid sick days, holidays, vacation and health insurance. Start date is any time before May 1st.

    Fluent in Spanish
    Experience with special needs (sensory processing disorder, Autism, neuro development disorder, ADHA, behavior management
    BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study 

    CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)

    Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position

    A passion for working with children

    Two+ years childcare experience

    Excellent work and personal references

    U.S. driver's license and pristine driving record

    Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership

    Competent swimmer


    Willing to go through extensive Background Check

    Willingness to show proof of immunizations

    No-cell phone driving signed guarantee

    Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
