HOUSTON, TX- Sweet, laid back, easy going stay-at-home mom in the affluent River Oaks/Upper Kirby area is looking for a SUPER ORGANIZED nanny to care for their two sweet girls, ages 9 months and 3 years. Hours are from 7am-3pm Monday-Friday. Evening flexibility for the occasional date night preferred. Hours are FLEXIBLE (can guarantee 40 hours/week, but is open to part-time for the right candidate). Three-year-old is in school until 3pm, so nanny will mainly care for the 9-month-old. Schedule for 9-month-old includes waking up at 7am, napping at 9:30am and 2pm and taking trips to the park and playing outside in between! Both girls are super SWEET, RESPECTFUL, SOCIAL AND ACTIVE (nanny MUST be active and enjoy the outdoors!). Organization is a HUGE part of the role (i.e. organizing girl’s wardrobe monthly as they grow out of sizes; keeping inventory of household items, etc.). Additional responsibilities include full childcare (primarily for 9-month-old); sanitizing toys and bottles; keeping play area and kids’ rooms clean; doing children’s laundry and dishes; keeping the house and girls’ belongings organized; cooking for children (prep and cook meals to be frozen); feeding dogs (two low maintenance labs). MUST LOVE DOGS! Ideal candidate is ORGANIZED, RELIABLE, ACTIVE, and TAKES INITIATIVE. Background in CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT and/or TEACHING a PLUS! Must be able to instill manners (“yes ma’am!”) and responsibilities (i.e. encourage them to help pick up toys). Must have own car and clean driving record for the rare occasion that pick-up/drop-off for 3-year-old is needed (mileage reimbursement provided). Pay is $17-25/hour DOE. Additional benefits include paid vacation and holidays. Start date is 2/4/19.
