    Busy family in the Financial District looking for a top tier FULL-TIME HOUSEHOLD ASSISTANT/ NANNY  Mo/We 10AM-8PM, Tu/Th 12-8PM, Fr 9AM-1PM (with availability to work nights or weekends if needed).  Pay is $30/hr, annual gross salary is $62,400, 3k health stipend after 90 days. They have two bright, witty, inquisitive and loving children (4.5-year-old boy and 3-year-old girl).  They also have two small dogs, must be OK with pets (Note: they have a dog walker, but if you would like to take this duty over it is available to you!).  Their son has Autism and although he is non-verbal, he is very expressive.  Someone with any behavioral/ special needs experience is helpful but not a requirement. No special skills needed, but someone who is intelligent, empathetic and patient preferred Your position will be heavily focused on household duties (light housekeeping (organizing closets and bedrooms, running errands, maintaining the schedules, helping plan parties and or vacations, laundry and grocery shopping). Must be able to anticipate needs and execute them efficiently.  Must be able to work fast and diligently. Ideal candidate is loving and kind; hardworking, intelligent, resourceful; organized, tidy, and is a great multi-tasker!  Someone who does not require much direction but who can hit the ground running, is proactive and self-sufficient. and has a great personality/ attitude looking to become an extension of their family.  They really need someone to be able to come in and hit the ground running!


    1. Childcare

    - Watching the children, providing support through their daily schedule

    - Supporting son’s therapists as needed

    - Providing a safe environment

    - Additionally, for overtime nanny may come in on weekends and nights and homestay

    - Cooking for children

    - Picking up children from school

    - Taking children to activities and playdates

    - Disciplining children as needed

    - Occasionally providing support for parents during dinners, family gatherings, etc

    - Maintaining and packing kids backpacks for schooldays

    - Supporting parents with school events

    - Nanny communicates with son's ABA team to generalize therapy goals into the household environment and work towards goals together, ie. get ready for sports, eating out, etc.

     - Schedule Doctor and other related appointments for the children; providing mom support at said appointments


    1. Household Support

    - Keep a tidy home environment, ie. make beds, generally sweep, empty trash, clean-up toys, do dishes, 

    - Help put away and process laundry 

    - Pick-up and drop-off laundry and packages from the Valet

    - Cook for parents 

    - Order Household Supplies

    - Go grocery shopping

    - Replenish food and household items 

    - Purchase birthday gifts for upcoming parties

    - Purchase clothes, shoes, and accessories for children

    -Assist with party planning and assist with events


    1. Weekly Check-In

    - Mondays, touch base with parents regarding the responsibilities and events for the week ahead ie. coordinate playdates, activities, goals and any projects and items that need to be procured.

    - Fridays touch base with parents regarding the week ahead and various classes, activities that needs to be planned; as well as supplies and items that need to be purchased.


    1. Travel (*one month at least notice before travel, unless an acceptation is agreed upon) 

    - Occasionally Nanny will travel with the family and will be responsible for all 'Childcare Responsibilities' described in section 1 that are applicable. 

    - Some Scheduling, Purchasing and Correspondence may be necessary while we are traveling


    1. Projects

    - Seasonally go through children clothes ie. get rid of, donate, trash

    - Seasonally go through children Toys ie. get rid of, donate, trash

    - Seasonally go through children Shoes ie. get rid of, donate, trash



    BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study 

    CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)

    Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position

    A passion for working with children

    Two+ years childcare experience

    Excellent work and personal references

    U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)

    Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership
    Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus

    Competent swimmer


    Willing to go through extensive Background Check

    Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident

    Willingness to show proof of immunizations

    No-cell phone driving signed guarantee

    Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

    Hourly Rate

    USD $30.00/Hr.
