    Family looking for a mature woman without dependent children to live-in a home with three Special Needs grown women. HCA, CNA or RN required or willing to be trained as HCA (health care side). They are open to a married couple. (Both would require background check).  All are social, active, enjoy seeing other people, going out in the community. All three gals are loving and will bond with their caregiver. They are pleasant with no disruptive behaviors. Two of the young adults have language delays.All three women are physically independent with two needing some light personal care with dressing and bathing. No lifting or equipment required.  Two of the women are OK to be left alone for a few hours if needed.  All need assistance navigating their day, making good choices, etc.  Two take medications daily. All sleep at night so there is no night-time care required.  Beautiful 5 bedroom home (10 years old), Downtown suburban location walking distance with sidewalks to main street, community park, walking trails, bus lines. Easy access to highway. 20-30 minutes to downtown Seattle. Vibrant neighborhood with excellent neighbors, lots of activity in the downtown area.  Garage parking at the house. Street parking also available.


    Caregiver will be responsible for managing shopping, laundry cooking, and general household operation.  All three families will live 20 minutes from the house and will be involved in their adult children's lives. This is the first time all three women will be living away from home. Families are vested in this being a smooth life transition and are committed to their daughters and to the caregiver to make it successful and sustainable. They are looking for a woman who can be a mom to all three women.




    Must meet the following requirements:

    • Must be familiar with REDMOND, WA and SEATTLE!
    • Fluent English speaker
    • Experienced with the disabled population especially with Downs Syndrome

    • Be a willing teacher with the ability to break down tasks or ideas into basic steps

      to foster independence

    • Willing to make a lifestyle change and at least a 2 year commitment

    • Compassionate, flexible, caring, good communicator, and organized with high


    • Willing to participate in 5 days of paid Health Care Aide training if not already

      credentialed and maintain credentials as required by the state

    • Love to prepare fun, healthy food

    • Must have a driver's license and good driving record.

    • Be comfortable accompanying the women in the community for their events and


    • A passion for working with Special Needs
    • Excellent work and personal references
    • U.S. driver's license
    • Non-smoker
    • Willing to go through extensive Background Check
    • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.


    This is a 24/7 position. 40-45,000./year 

    Caregiver will have 2 weekends off a month, 4 paid holidays, 4 floating holidays,

    2 weeks paid vacation.

    Parents are all local if there is illness or emergency.

    Funded retirement account.

    If the caregiver does not own a car, tehy will purchase a car. (You are responsible to pay for your own insurance).

    Caregiver will become an employee of a local HH agency and will be paid MONTHLY per agency guidelines.

    The salary is $3,600 month- tax free. (Caregiver recovers all taxes taken out at after filing tax return).

    Cell phone stipend

    Free Medical/Dental/Vision insurance (no premium) through the HH agency.

    Hourly Rate

    USD $15.00/Hr.
