LAS VEGAS, NV (NATIONWIDE SEARCH) - A family in Las Vegas is searching for a FULL-TIME LONG-TERM NANNY to join their family. They have a 1-year-old daughter and plan to grow their family in the future. The dad has a high-stress job, and while the mom is currently home full-time she wishes to focus on her business. They need someone to support the mom and provide an extra set of hands as well as full autonomy as needed. The ideal candidate will be willing to grow with the family long-term! The schedule is Monday to Friday, from either 8 am to 4 pm or 7 am to 3 pm with some flexibility.
Their daughter currently takes two naps per day but will soon transition to one nap. She attends a mommy and me class twice a week. They live near two large parks and have access to a community pool. Their daughter is smart, energetic, and happy. They prefer someone with experience caring for babies and toddlers who can fully engage with their daughter. Speaking Russian is a plus, but not mandatory. They want someone enthusiastic, who can take direction but also show initiative. A pleasant attitude is a must, and they require someone who is up-to-date on vaccinations and a non-smoker.
The nanny's duties include all baby-related tasks such as feeding, diaper changing, laundry, tidying up after play, light housekeeping, wiping down counters, and occasional cooking. They have a chocolate lab and would like the nanny to let the dog in and out. The family is ultimately looking for the right fit, so the start date is flexible. The pay is $30-35/hr gross via payroll. Benefits include 10 days of PTO, 5 sick days, and paid major federal holidays off. They are also willing to provide relocation assistance and open to someone living in if that is the candidate’s preferred arrangement.
SECANE, PA (NATIONWIDE SEARCH)- Incredible mother residing 15 minutes from West Philadelphia is in search of a FULL-TIME NANNY/EDUCATOR for her vibrant and bright 3-year-old girl. Her daughter was recently diagnosed with speech and cognitive delays. Therefore, they seek a nurturing nanny with a solid educational background capable of providing top-notch care while also focusing on speech and language development, as well as preparing her for kindergarten.
Hours for this position are from 8am-5pm Monday-Friday, plus flexibility to work occasional evenings and overnights when mom travels. The position can be live in (preferred) or live out. Live-in accommodations consist of a private bedroom and shared bathroom. They have two Yorkies in the home (must love dogs!) and live within walking distance of public transportation. Mom works in the home.
The child loves to laugh, read books, do puzzles and play dress up. She is very observant, is a problem solver and loves to explore her world. She was previously in a Montessori school and does well with child-led learning, but thrives with more guidance and structure in other areas, such as mealtimes.
Your duties will encompass all aspects of the child's wellbeing, from her comprehensive care to her education, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining cleanliness in her surroundings. Given her selective eating habits, experience in cultivating children's interest in food is highly valued! Throughout the day, she engages in a structured routine comprising focused learning sessions intertwined with play-based activities aimed at nurturing language, learning, and overall development. It will be up to the nanny to devise enriching activities. Additionally, free play, including outings to toddler gyms, parks, and indoor play areas, is a regular part of her schedule, alongside therapy sessions held four times weekly. The nanny will be responsible for transporting her to therapy and other activities. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential. The family can arrange for a car for work-related travel, or mileage reimbursement will be provided for using your vehicle. Her nap time typically falls between 12:30 and 3:30 pm each day. Pet care, though optional, consists of letting the dogs out and replenishing their water and food as needed.
The ideal candidate is trustworthy, vigilant, creative, and takes initiative. Someone who is innovative, flexible and easily adaptable, particularly when unexpected situations arise. For instance, if a planned lesson doesn't suit the child's mood, being able to seamlessly transition to an alternative activity to achieve the same goal is crucial. A background in education, with the capability to address speech and language development, is highly desired. Moreover, they are seeking a nanny who exudes warmth and extroversion, someone willing to integrate seamlessly into the family dynamic for the long haul rather than viewing the position as merely a job. Must be neat and tidy and a good roommate if living in.
Pay is $25-30/hour depending on experience. Benefits include paid sick days and vacation. Start date is ASAP!
